I have body odor. Please help.?

I am a 17 year old male and I am in my senior year of high school. I think I have body odor because of people's reactions at school.

One kid in my class who sits right behind me has his hand around his mouth/nose most of the time.

In another class, I sit next a girl and I think she tells her friends who sit next to her that I have bad odor because I think I heard the word "smells" a couple of times and her friends look at me. She is always slightly turned away from me rather than facing forward.

I am a bit overweight and a bit hairy but I always shower once at night and once in the morning.

I use Certain Dri antiperspirant at night and a deoderoant in the morning.

I use Irish Spring Deodorant soap when I shower. I shampoo my hair and make sure I have soap all over my body.

I put on body spray such as BOD or use a cologne.

I brush my teeth twice a day and I chew gum in class and make sure to drink lots of water.

I even put on body powder on my body to prevent sweating.

I put so much effort but the body odor is still their...

I also take chlorophyll liquid which is a body deodorant.

I am already a shy guy and this issue isn't making it any better for me. I am always paranoid.

What can I do?

Please don't say "go to the doctor". I don't want to do that and I don't want my parents to know.

  1. I took the liberty of searching for you...the following link has many great ideas and suggestions...I hope that they work for you and good luck.

  2. Secret Clinical Strength....

    Good Stuff.

  3. You may actually be using TOO MUCH body smelly stuff, such as the body spray.  It may be overwhelming.

If this isn't it, try changing your diet to include lots more water and more fresh things. Certain vegetables (like asparagus) and most processed foods create negative body odor smells.

  4. hi. all i can say... is that i feel for you. i understand. i used to have really bad smelling feet. it was SOOOOOO embarassing. and maybe what i think is that you COULD have a foot odor. so this is what to dio. bleach your shoes, and wash them. then soak your feet in tea. yes, TEA. the acid in it will help shrink your sweat glands, and help get rid of the odor. do it everyday. in two weeks... you should be stink free. and also... try gold bond powder for feet. it helps them from sweating, and also helps the odor. good luck!

  5. 1.use the new gillete clinical deodorant at nite.

    2. ask a frien to help u chave maybe your back

    3. breath..hmm could be a your liver problem since yo are over...pounds

shwe some raw parsley and swallow it ..it really helps

    4. get great fragance...212 for men...by carolina herrera  girls love it, and it lasts

5.try getting polyester shirts...like the dr-fit ones form nike...they dri fast so your shirts do not keep the sweat in the shirt

    6.get an anti-bcterial soap.

    7. kee away from seafood, garlic... try eating healthier.

don't be shy just be yourself.

    Good luck

  6. Hun. I honestly think your putting way too much c**p on yourself, which is why you stink. Maybe its not the body odor that people have a problem with.. Maybe its the combination of smells that your using to mask what you think you have.  If the scents don't compliment each other then your gonna smell like a whole mess of things.

I think you should make sure your bath soap and body "powder" are unscented and then use a cologne that isnt too musky. If you really feel the need to be that scented. Try using a product that makes a variety of bath products so your scent is the same.

Example. Axe body spray.. they make shower gel, cologne and i think even shampoo now. So choose the same scent in all three products.

I have no idea what the heck chlorophyll liquid is but i don't think its wise to drink anything that was not prescribed by a doctor.

Seeing as you seem like a pretty clean dude.. I cant see how you could smell of BO that badly.

Definitely try and tone down the fragrances your using. Nothing turns my stomach more then a person whose wearing too much cologne

  7. Wow, it certainly looks like you're trying all the right things.  My first thought was liquid chlorophyll (does wonders for stinky feet) - are you taking at least 2 tablespoons 2x a day?  The suggestion on parsley sounded like a good one also.  I've heard that one before.

If you have a good friend, one you can really trust, (an adult or a friend your age) ask them what they think and tell them you want a really honest answer.  And if possible, ask more than one friend.  Some people have more sensitive noses than others.  Good luck!

  8. maybe its because you wear to much cologne try using a little less

    hope i helped
