  2. I can't figure out wtf is up with the fleas this year.  It's like they are resistant no matter what!!!!!!!!!  I am changing my frontline plus to revolution and buying this stuff from the vet that you spray and as soon as it dries within 2 hours you can move on to a different room....and not have to leave for several hours or be smelling the fumes.  I use tweezers and still can't get these things to die.  In all my years of rescuing animals....I have never seen fleas this bad...except 7 years ago...when my friend's 2 cats died, I lost a couple of cats and others I had heard had as well.  EVEN THOUGH WE ALL USED GOOD FLEA PRODUCTS that had worked for years.  NOTHING would kill the fleas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They don't even look like normal fleas.  I don't know what is going on with them...but, it's driving me nuts and robbing my bank account.  Please email me if you find something that works.  I'm going this week to get the new flea treatment...if your email isn't available on your profile..........email me and I'll let you know if this new stuff works and hopefully you have a vet to get it from.  GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Treat your carpeting with a good coating of Orthoboric Acid. This is a fine powder that you can find at ACE Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes, or any local pest control center. It's odorless, flavorless, and harmless to cats. One treatment can last for a year. IT works by dehydrating or lacerating fleas and also inhibits eggs from hatching.  Treat the carpets and vaccuum up any excess. Also treat any sandy or well-shaded areas in the yard. Keep your cat inside, and apply Advantage or Frontline every 3 weeks until your flea problem has resolved. Flea bombs don't do anything except stink up your home and expose you and your cat to harmful chemicals.

    Best of luck.
