  1. Why white? Do some colors!

  2. I agree that mixing whites can be dangerous.  Go with some kind of color on the walls - maybe a slate blue?

  3. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "white dogwood" (# 6315) might set off that trim nicely.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  4. Purple

  5. i would go with a pale grey, otherwise it sounds like a hospital

  6. mixing whites can be dangerous. one white will make the other look dirty. If you want a stark look - a super pale blue can look white on the walls depending on what else you have around. I would not put the whites together without some sort of colour between them.

  7. ****I think a lighter mocha would look hot!!
