I have bought a used pokemon pearl game can i just start a new game when i get it???

i bought pokemon pearl but dont no whether i can start a new game on it help plz

Indeed, you can start a new game, however unless you reset the game entirely, you will not be able to save a new game.

To completly reset the game, press UP + B button on the title screen if you want to erase the current saved game file and start a new one.

i don't see why you couldn't start a new game. when it starts up just hit start new game and there you go
