I have bought a variety of climbing seeds and put them in pots and have placed them against a wall.?

Well i have a nice sunny wall, but do i need to stake these climbers or will they just cling to the wall. Sorry if it sounds dumb but i am very new to all this.

Most climbers can't cling to a bare wall.  You should probably provide a trellis or woven wire for them to grab on to.  And as previously mentioned some climbers are very deep rooted and need more space than a pot.  Check with your nursery about the varieties you bought.

It depends on what they are. Also, some climbers don't do well in pots. Even if they are very large.
