I have braces but why don't i have rubber bands?

Question

I've had braces since february and i have the hook for rubber bands

on my braces. but why dont i have the rubber bands? am i gonna get it soon. or not

rubberbands are for when your bite is off, like an overbite. i only had to wear them at night but some people have to wear them all the time.

first of all, dont be shy to ask your dentist.  you should always be able to ask any person performing a service for you whatever youd like, since you're paying for it.

and rubber bands arent necessary all the time.

i got my braces last august, and i jsut got ym rubberbands this august.  they wait for your teeth to be stright on top and bottom, then they use the rubberbands to work on your overbite/underbite.  hope it helped.
