I have brown pee?!?!?

i just peed and it's dark brown.

i know it's not my period i'm VERY positive.

i don't have pain at all, besides after i pee i feel a slight discomfort in my urinary tract.

i'm freaked out.

why is my urine brown?!?!?!?

first thing is not to panic take a deep breathe, now  alot of acne medicines work in different ways and some of them are known to help you get rid of the toxens in your body and the way they do that is by peeing it out. some times the toxens don't leave all the way and they cause a tract infection and if your pee is smelling funny it would be a good idea for you to get checked by the doctor who gave you the pills for your acne.

You haven't been drinking enough plain water.  It could also be from any medications you're taking.

It is because you have blood in your urine.  It is typically from heavy physical activity.

You are dehydrated. Believe me I know about this topic. Been there many times. You need some water and some Gatorade. Keep an eye on it though if it doesn't get better in 24 hours you need to go to the ER.

Dehydration or you might have your body breaking down it's own muscles and those broken down muscle cells are going through the blood stream and being pissed out. It's called rhabdomyolysis and can be deadly, though it's rare and is usually caused by dehydration or excessive stimulant use with dehydration and hyperthermia.

There are different reasons your urine may be brown.  But I need to ask one question - is it Brown or very dark yellow?

Dark yellow is probably dehydration.  Drink some water to see if it lightens up.  If it does there is nothing to worry about.

Brown could mean problems with your liver.  One of the early signs of hepatitis is brown urine.  If it continues go to your physician.

before u call the Doctor wait until u have to pee again and if its still brown like it was before call the Doctor but if its fading away u should be fine if u still feel uncomfortable you would be better of calling the Docter th best of luck!
