  1. There are a lot of unknowns here my friend. What are you wanting to connect your speakers to? Let me know what it is you are trying to accomplish and I can help.

  2. Well assuming you want to connect to a 'standard' stereo or home cinema amplifier - what you need to do is make sure the SAME wire that is connected to the red terminal on the back of the 'L' or 'Left' speaker goes to the red terminal marked 'L' or 'Left' on the amplifier, and the other wire from black to 'L' black similarly. Then do the same with the other speaker, your 'Right' speaker, connect the wire from the red speaker terminal to the red amplifier terminal 'R' or 'Right', and black to 'R' black again.

Some amplifiers you unscrew a plastic head round terminal, poke the bare wire up behind the plastic head and s***w it back up tightly. The wire must touch the metal s***w itself behind the plastic head.

Or you may have had phono jacks connected to the speaker wires? In which case they just plug straight into the red or black terminals as appropriate.

Or the third option is the 'spring clip' terminal, where you lift up a little lever, push the wire in a square hole and push the lever firmly back onto the wire, holding it in place.
