  1. A) You can't learn these safely at home and B) you can't learn them in a month.  I am very sorry if not having them means you can't get on the team. :^(  If that is the case look into other cheering options like Rec or All-Stars.

You can also start getting ready for _next year's_ tryouts by going to a gym and working on these things, plus jumps and motions as well. You can find tips and drills that will help you learn these skills faster here: http://aescougarcheer.com/Cheer101/tumbl...

  2. impossible. im sorry.

    tryout any ways.

its not safe at home, and in the first few weeks, even if you worked on them 6 hours a day, everyday. your body would overload. pulled muscles. suuuuper sore. you *may* be able to get the bhs, but the tucks take much more time. if not done correctly, you may hurt yourself.

  3. i dont think you can learn one at home you need to go to a tumbling place and take a class. also find an adult who is trainded to spot you on that stuff. Practice on a tramp to if you can

  4. You basically cannot.  As a high level gymnastics coach I can attest that the skills you listed require much more than 30 days.  Usually one would learn a back handspring first then a front tuck followed by the back tuck.  Over all you are looking at a three year commitment.  If you are serious about this contact your nearest cheer gym or gymnastics club and ask to do private lessons.  Privates are the only way to go as one on one lessons will do much more for you.  Also a serious strength training regimen and proper nutritional intake will allow your lessons to progress faster than normal.

  5. I agree with the other two posters--

Don't work on you tucks until you have a back handspring

Tucks are very technical- it takes a while to learn them.  Don't be disappointed if you don't get one by tryouts, and always have a strong spotter with you until you get them.

  6. maybe instead of at home, try going to a gym and get private tumbling lessons? thats what i did!

but if you cant do that, do u have a trampoline? or a mat or a matress? get someone to spot you in those and whatch some youtube vids on how to's!

    hope i helped!
