I have clicked my fingers (knuckles) regularly for 10 months... Will I get arthritis when I'm older?

  1. Cracking your knuckles won't make you develop arthritis.  If you're going to get it nothing you do will prevent it.  It's just one of those hereditary things, I suppose.

  3. Not necessarily. Cracking your knuckles has no effect on your developing arthritis, it only serves to lubricate your joints with tendon fluid. Crack away!

  4. No this shouldn't result in Arthritis but it may result (over a period of time) into muscular damage or even joint imflammation of the affected area

  5. No, this is just a old legend with no real basis. Doing this only pushes air out of the joints
