I have comcast and a motorola dual tuner DVR. How do i tell the tuners what to record?

I know the channel i'm on - is always being recorded on one tuner. But how do I tell it what to record on the other - if I want to watch 2 football games at the same time or somethingg like that.

i found the mod to switch the tuners - but i can't tell it what to record on that second tuner.

Press the Swap Tuners button on your Comcast remote.  The location varies, but is generally one of the smaller buttons along the bottom.

Swapping tuners won't stop a recording.  If you just change the channel, the current program being recorded will stop.

If you set two shows on different channels at the same time to record, the DVR will automatically decide what tuner to use to record each show.

If course, if you're recording 2 shows simultaneously, you can't watch a third.  You'll have to watch one of those 2 shows, or a previously-recorded show that's already on the DVR.
