I have come to Bangalore from Hyderabad in 2006 and had paid Karnataka Road Tax What to do if I lose receipt?

My Vehicle is Bajaj Pulsar 150 cc 2004 modeland I had paid the road tax in June 2006 when I came to Bangalore from Hyderabad. I lost the receipt recently (2007). What sould I do to get duplicate receipt from Bangalore?

Go back to bangalore and get it done from your R.T.O, or file a complaint on any PS , or go to the local RTO and let them know that you lost the receipt , probably they will have a record , coz you already paid the road tax  to the AP govt.

Go to the nearest BangaloreOne center or Ashoknagar Police Station to get a duplicate copy. I guess you need this only for the traffic cops and that your vehicle is a non-KA registration. As suggested by JSS, take a backup - rather - carry a photocopy and save the original.

Remember to scan all important papers and save in you computer also.
