How much weight should I have ideally gained by now? I started with 65 kg.

  1. There are not a rule as to how must weight you should have gained. When I was 6 and a half months, I have gained 6kg. I started at 69kg. My gino was happy with that. Just listen to your body, and although sometimes difficult, try not to eat a lot of sugar and fat. Fill up on veggies and a fruit, and a big favourite of mine, chicken salad! And remember WATER!

  4. Be guided by what your doctor says on this or your obstetrician

    They will know what is right for you according to your bone structure, height and other factors that they use to assess how much weight gain is healthy.

    As long as you are eating healthy foods including-  I hope fruits and vegetables with some of them raw to get your daily dose of folate to keep your baby healthy as well -  and do as the doctor directs you then all should be OK and your delivery should go well

  5. Every woman is different. You could gain 3-5 pounds during the first 3 months and 1/2 to 11/2 every week after that.  

  6. I'm only familiar with dealing in pounds when it comes to wieght, so hopefully this will still help you:

    If 65 kg is right around 140 pounds, you should be considered healthy wieght pre-pregnancy (unless you're really short.)  So, supposing you are of healthy wieght this is how it should go:

    You should gain between 3 to 5 pounds during your first trimester.  

    So by 12 weeks you could be up to 145 pounds.  

    Then you should gain another 1 to 2 pounds a week for the rest of your pregnancy.  So by 26 weeks you could be up to 173 pounds.  Or 159.  So, it sound like anywhere from 159 to 173 pounds at this point is good!
