i have worked with horses ever since i could walk and talk i love the animal and beings that i am unable to continue with my race riding career due to weight commitments i would like nothing more then pursuing my next goal in being an equine nurse, in the past couple of years i have assisted in surgery, many scopings and radiographing of the animal and also foal births.

as a younger keen horse girl i also competed at many shows including royals and horse of the year events which i was also successfull in.

Having completed cert iv in racing (jockey) im sure to have many RPL's so hopefully that should be a start.

  1. Try contacting Universities like Colorado State, Ohio State, Cornell, and find out what their Veterinary Technician program consists of, and what is required for licensing. I interned for Randall Vet Hospital for my college edu, but not for techy licensing, but personal knowledge for my own stable keeping. I hope you pursue this, such an interesting field!!

  2. Do what you want go> to vet school

or what is your real question here I am a bit confused ?

It sounds like you know what you want so do it girl

    Good luck
