  1. IF you have a green card then you should move here and start a job search.  Not many companies are going to hire you sight unseen from India and move you  here.

So if your not in the US you have a slim chance of being hired to work here

  2. Dear Kalpu,

You already have all the tools. Academic degree and working permit. You just need to figure out in what area are you most interested on: cancer research, gene therapy, etc.

You might want to start at the university where you got your Ph.D. They should have a career center.

If this is no longer an option, try looking for recruiters/job agencies. Agencies cannot charge you a penny. They'll charge the company.

If you don't find a suitable agency, go online for job search.

Finally, find online a pharmaceutical company who is developing drugs or conducting research on the area of your interest.

    Best of Luck

  3. Hi, it depends on the requirements here in the us. I know alot of people from my work were they had completed there PhD and have received there Doc in other countries, And they had to repeat school again. The reason why is because some of the techniques or lets say the way they want you to know certain material might be different. so what they have you do it repeat the course here in the us, so you learn things they way hospitals run here ( I am unsure if hospitals here run different from the ones in India Sorry but i would imagine they do because they run different now and every state). Most of the my friends who have studied in different country's had to start over and come to school here. I would still looking into too it also could depend on the actual job in that job area, like i said it all depends on requirements.
