What countries passport you hold ? because you did not buy any confirm ticket yet, if not , the air-line or you travel agent will inform you about VISA. is mean , if you return air ticket to Malaysia with you, you get the answer ! ( check with you travel agent , there know better than us, because all of us did not know,where you from ? )

You have to consult the embassy of malaysia first to get a visa. you have to show them your itinerary, the confirmation of your hotel room and your flight..  you can't get visa just by that..
