I have coniferous tree seeds and a peet pellot. where do i plant the pellot in the container? at the bottom?

or do I plant it 1/8th of an inch from the top where I'm supposed to plant the seeds?

Plant it at the top of the container. Whenever you repot a tree, the soil line remains the same. Do not bury the trunk in the soil, the roots will go down into the new container as they grow.
