I have connected media to the computer but import does not start.?

Question

I have a Sony Handycam and I'm trying to make a DVD out of my videos but I can't import it to the Picture Motion Browser.

I don't know maybe I connected the handycam to the computer wrong...not really sure.

PLEASE help!!!

If you are using a miniDV tape based camcorder, USB will not work. You need a firewire port on your computer and a firewire cable connected to the camcorder's DV port. USB is generally only used for transferring stills off the memory card.
