Hey Fizzdude, My son http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&... was a major creative developer of GTA. Liberty City was built brick by brick from his ideas. HE believed that ideas are as real as anything. And I think he would be very pleased by your conviction.

But...the place where he grew up and where I believe most of his spirit "lives" is with me, in the country, by the ocean in the tall grass of his youth.

So please, remember that those things are also real when and if you need to escape from the City ;)

I'm dismayed that RS has not put his name in the credits of GTA IV even though representatives assured me that his work "was all through it" .  I often wonder if there is a tribute to him hidden in the game somewhere. My system can't run it so, if yu happen to spot something in the city where "The American Dream goes to die" perhaps you will E-Mail me. Yours is not open or I would have made this private. Sorry.
