  1. I'd say call the court house, and depending on what the court case is about..

  2. I do not think a minor is even allowed to be in court with parental guidance or council.  I would call into the courthouse clerks office and tell them your situation and see what they say.  They will give you a much better answer than anyone on here.  That seems awful late for a court date.  I guess it all depends on what it is.  If you are a witness or it is against another person and is not the state against you then you may not be able to reschedule but either way just look up the number for the clerks office and give them a call.  Good luck!

  3. Show up for court. It would be up to the judge if the case needs to be rescheduled or not.

  4. A late court date sounds like a traffic ticket, if that's what it is then you can reschedule just by calling the court clerk.

  5. It may be too late. Depending on the type of court, they may require that you reschedule sufficiently far in advance. It is better to go and get it over with. If you don't show, there will be a warrant issued for your arrest to force you to show, and you don't want that.

  6. Not the day of the court hearing.  You needed to petition the court after you received the notice of hearing, not the day of the hearing.  Sorry, better go.

Scenario: We don't know what the court hearing is for.  So, if this is a regular hearing, you will usually get one more warning [a Show Cause in Michigan], if you don't go to that one a Bench Warrant will be issued for your arrest.  Better Go Dude...
