  1. http://www.medicinenet.com/budesonide-or... :

    Budesonide (trade> Entocort EC)

SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, nausea, dizziness, increased sweating, stomach upset, or may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: trouble breathing, fever, pain (e.g., back, stomach/abdominal, or generalized pain). Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: chest pain, swelling of the tongue or face/legs/arms, vision problems, easy bruising, tingling or numbness of the hands/feet, tremor, unusually fast heartbeat, trouble sleeping, mental/mood changes, rash, acne, urination problems (e.g., inability to urinate or increase in nighttime urination), changes in menstrual period, increased hair growth (body hair). Contact your doctor if you experience any of the signs of low steroid levels: unusual weakness, weight loss, vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    ______________

I'd do as that says.  Obviously you've got a brunt of the bad side effects of this drug. Your Gastroenterologist might switch you to prednisolone...

  2. I am not entirely sue how to spell it but I was taking Asacol and Prednazone, for about 9months, and I started getting those symptoms as well. Frankly I got tired of it. So i stopped taking the Prednazone, and that helped some. But I was still always grumpy and poofy, like water weight. I ended up talking to my shaklee rep, (shaklee.com) and she helped me pick out some organic alternatives for my body type, Eventually I stopped taking the Asacol as well.(with my Dr.s Approval!) and I had to totally change my way of eating and started going on long walks daily. I was 17 when I was diagnosed and I am now 22 and I have had a bill of health from my Dr. since 2005. I really hope this helps.Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions that you think I can help with.

  3. What's entocort? Anywho i've been diagnosed with Crohn's disease for about 8 years now and been in remission for 3 year blah blah blah..w/e. What I thought really helped me was Remicade an(I.V. treatment) 6mp aka MERCAPTOPURINE. They both played a big role on my recovery and made me feel a lot better. 6mp is an amazing drug but I wouldn't recommend staying on it for more then 5 years (long term side affects). Im currently 21 and im not taking any medication anymore and I feel great.  About your question, get some blood work done and find out your iron count. It may be that your not eating properly, your medication might be to strong, or your iron count is to low. Keep your head up, you'll beat it =).

Also I heard herbalists help a lot too.
