  1. put pizza sauce and cheese with toppings for a pizza

make a gordida of some sort

make dip and eat it with the pita

  2. Mix some feta cheese riccota and a little bit of grated onion then spread the mixture between the bread then lightly toast or grill it. It also tastes very nice if it is browned in a fry pan (using no oil).

instead of onion you could also use spinach and feta. Just play around with the proportions and cater it to your taste.

  3. open and add lettuce, tomato, some kind of salad dressing, maybe some meat.

  4. bake with cinnamon and sugar?/ but put butter on it to make it stick.

  5. horse raddish...mmmmmmm

  6. peanut butter and bananas, or quesedilla!

  7. Take the stale pita bread and brush lightly with veggie oil and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cut into triangles and toast in a 350 degree oven until crisp. (10 mins or so) Have a look on allrecipes.com  I've seen a great recipe like this with a dip.

If you would like to try something new though, follow the same steps but sprinkle the pita with cumin instead and serve with humus  It's awesome!

  8. Vegetarian alternative : Toast the pitta bread, chop some apple and celery, add mayo, walnuts and cress, its scrummy!!

  9. put marinara sauce on the pitta bread then some pre cooked chicken then thin slices of cheese and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds

  10. you can eat hummus with the pita

  11. Open it

    butter it

    toast it under the broiler

sprinkle with 2 Tbsp sugar mixed with 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  12. You could always cut them up or hand break them apart, melt some butter and brush it on, then sprinkle them with Cinnamon and sugar and bake them in the oven for a sweet treat!  You could do some oven baked nachos, bake them off for home made chips with any dip, you could crumble them up and use them as breadcrumbs, use them for a crunchy topping on your homemade Mac and Cheese, blueberry cobbler........oh wait, only a snack, my bad. You could also put a little Marinara sauce on them, cheese, pepperoni, or any popular pizza toppings on them and do finger pizza's, bake them off and top them with Ham, Turkey, Chicken or Egg Salad, season them with some spicy seasonings and brush them with butter, bake them off and crumble them on a small salad.  Well, that's all that I have for now, I hope this gives you some ideas to help use up your day old pita bread.
