I left uk five years ago although i still have a house there. i need to rent it out as i have a mortgage on it so i have put it with an agent. i want to clear my debt as i am fed up with all the letters and now that i might have a tenant i can't have them calling at the door. i received a letter that said something about the land register or something attached to an agencies letter. also i have ccjs due to owing for a credit card. i think i owe about five thousand pounds

  2. Well you don't want your tenant to have to endure that, that's certainly not fair nor expected. What you need to do is pay your debt or make arrangements to pay.

What you can start out doing is paying something, that way you don't have them calling on you. Then secure a tenant and use some of the proceeds to pay the balance owing.

That way the tenant need never be bothered and you have a means of paying the debt and ultimately the mortgage.
