Is this a USA based insurance company or belongs to some other part of world? Anyways insurance sector is booming but to gain a foot hold you need good spirit.

AIG is a very big company.   I am not sure if they are associated with Primamerica.   If they are I would not sell for Primamerica.  Too many reasons to list.

You can also try several of the other big companys if AIG does not work out for you.    It really helps if you sell P&C too and not just life.
