The Ukrainian striker has told the Moscow-based club that he wants to leave the Russian Premier League club during the summer transfer window
Dynamo Moscow striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andriy-Voronin-c6020, has expressed his desire to leave Russia during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old has scored 11 goals this season and if speculations are to be believed, a host of top clubs including Fulham and Dynamo Kyiv are tracking him.
The West London club are keen to sign the unsettled Ukrainian striker to form a striking partnership with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pavel-Pogrebnyak-c29501, should Clint Dempsey leave the Craven Cottage this summer.
Though, Voronin is contracted to the Russian outfit until 2014, the Ukrainian forward told the media that he wants to leave Arena Khimki after a disappointing campaign.
There is little arguing that the Louders had a terrible season, having failed to claim a UEFA Champions League qualification after a series of below par performances during the third league round. The Dinamiki recorded three wins
from 12 outings during the round.
Dynamo, meanwhile, failed to win their first trophy since 1992, as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat in the Russian Cup final against Rubin Kazan at Yekaterinburg stadium.
Voronin has strongly been linked with a return to Ukrainian Premier League giants, Dynamo Kyiv. However, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 man wants to play for a bigger club in England or Germany.
“I had a chance to play with world-class stars in Europe - in the Bundesliga, the English Premier League, World Cup and the Champions League. I have worked with many coaches in various clubs in the Ukrainian team - and somehow
fit into their tactics.
“Despite the fact that my contract with my current club is still valid for next two years, I have asked my agent to negotiate with Dynamo. I have decided to leave the club and hope that the management and the fans will respect
my decision.” The former Bayer Leverkusen player was quoted as saying.
Voronin revealed that he will leave Moscow with a heavy heart, conceding that he has gained a lot of experience in Russia.
