I have declared war on the mice in my house.?

I am launching a major offencive against the mice in my house.what are some of the best ways to wipe them out without poisen as i have a dog that eats them.The more miserable death they have the better. anything that craps were it eats deserves a miserable death.

If you are truly wanting them to suffer, get the glue traps.  They'll pull themselves to pieces trying to get loose.  It is disgusting.  Otherwise snap traps are my first choice.  D-Con but you said you have mouse-eatin' dogs.  Avoid D-Con then.

You can use poison that does not give secondary poisoning and thus is safe to use when you have pets so long as you do not give your pets access to it. The bait needs to be in prepared blocks held within bait stations or secured within voids, lofts or other like places. The bait is 'Bromadiolone' and I would say that you are best getting a professional in. A good exterminator will have you clear of all mice within 7 - 10 days.

What will happen to your dog if it eats a rat ,that has poison in it's system? I have a cat and there are no rats around here.

I like the good old fashion method.......snap their necks in half with a trap.  I don't like poison because they die in the walls and then you have a nasty smell.

Get some Victor mouse traps and put a peanut under where the bait goes. Be sure it is secure. The little buggers can't resist peanuts. SNAP!!!!!
