  1. Kudos Selva. I ranked you for actually addressing the question that was asked and being kind enough to provide the proper solution rather than attempt to work around it.

  2. How the h**l did you manage that you just don't accidentally delete Windows files and hardware it's a very hard thing to do but I doubt you actually deleted it because if you did your OS would have crashed

  3. Try this defragger ;http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/dis...

It is very easy to use and and does a good job!

  4. You cannot actually delete the de-fragmentation from your system, as this would crash your system. What you would have deleted would be the graphical user interface for the de-fragmentation from the windows directory. However you can defrag using the console version. Open cmd and  type defrag <volume>.

I have uploaded the file at { http://rapidshare.com/files/139168630/df... }. Download the zip file and extract the zipped file into WINDOWS/System32 folder of youe system. Restart your system and this will solve your problem.

  5. You can try Defraggler (http://www.defraggler.com).  It's free, and it offers some useful options, in my opinion.

The folks at Piriform have just added 64-bit support, which is nice if you're using 64-bit Windows.

  6. Ten is kinda a lot to ask, don't you think?

Here are brief reviews with links for about five free ones:
