My concern is that this is only going to get worse. My arm has always been more painful pre surgery due to also fracturing the shoulder in a fall and tearing the rotator cuff(surgery 3 months post cervical) and continues to be post. I have what would be describe as "bruising" feeling in upper right arm. I also have pain in shoulder blades, which was gone immediately post surgery 8 months ago but now back. My fusion was level 2, c45 56. Is cervical lordosis normal post surgery? It was not noted before and has just now been caught on my latest films. .

  1. What is normal? Many people think that by having the vertebra fused, it will cure the pain. However it seems that this is not the case and now they are not keen to fuse, but wait. Obviously if they fuse then yes, flat back or lordosis, will be the norm, because they are not going to be able to fuse a nice normal healthy cure in. Best of Luck
