I have dial up at home internet,is there a way to make it go faster,is there a software or product i could buy

and with this being thru a phone jack,would i be able to get a spliter and run a second line into another room from the same phone jack..would the internet run the same or worse or normal.

How close are you to an exchange?

If you are not in the US and get free local calls, you may be better off getting yourself one of those 3G dongles, the work really well, are 100% portable and give you speeds of up to 1.3MBps at the moment...

Get  a dsl connection it works through the same phone lines and speeds upto 2 +mbs are possible , the maximum speed for a dial up is 56kpbs

no with dial up you can only go as fast as your moden will go, if you have a 56k moden you can only gothat fast

if your car's speeometer only goes to 75 you can't go 80
