  1. $50 is cheap if you factor in equipment and the installer coming out there.

See if you can get the equipment for 4 rooms instead of 3 for the same price.  My wife and I have our home setup for 4 rooms (2 boxes for two tvs each) and we only pay $5.  Even if you don't need the fourth tv you might need it in the future....

  2. you can buy a new one off the shelf for 99.00 dollars ,you are also going to need a quad LNB @ 69.00 dollars.. you can buy used stuff, just make sure the receiver didn't belong to someone who has an out standing balance on their account or you wont be able to activate it ....here is the LNB explanation...the LNB is the part on the end of the arm of the  dish if you have two receivers you probably  have a twin LNB to get a 3rd or 4th receiver you ll need a quad LNB. 50 bucks is cheap, before feb 1st it was 99.00 $  Were they  supposed to stop giving new customer incentives right after you got your system . its called the free market. there are two providers competing w/ each other for customers .w/o new customers your bill would be extremely high. i hate it when people use what "the other guy gets" to justify what you want. After I'm done writing this I'm taking my old truck back to the dealer because new customers get fuel injection and mine only has a carburetor and they better not try to charge me either
