I don't know why, but sometimes i just get these random dizzy spells, and the bottom half of my vision goes black, i ran into my cat cause i couldn't see the ground. and recently, i was cooking with my cousin, and i got very very dizzy all of the sudden, i had to have her take the cooking spoon, and i almost fell trying to get to a chair,

any reason why? it really bothers me..

  1. ohh hun I get the same thing, except all of my vision goes black and I have to hold on to something to keep from falling. Nothing to worry about.

There are many different reasons why this could be happening: getting up to fast or too early in the morning, not being active enough, not drinking enough water (dehydration), poor diet, not enough iron in your diet, some kind of cold or allergies......

If you want to know for sure, ask your doctor the next time you go for a visit.

But I recommend drinking more water, eat more iron foods like raisins (I used to eat one little pack a day), and go out to play more often. When it happens just stop what you're doing and wait for it to go away. Not much else you can do about it.

  2. best to go see a doctor and demand a referral to a neurologist. Get a CT scan or an MRI of your head, if you can.

  3. I get like this too!    Eaten something. And had something 2drink & that helps me @ if that dosent work   then try taking some  Motrin or drammamine b/c drammamine helps with dizziness. .. ..... Good luck and I hope by this helps u out!! !  :)

  4. this may not be it but I went to the doctor for being dizzy a lot and they told me that I wasnt drinking enough water and that this is common in teens.. my dizzy spells were not nearly as intense though, i would just feel light headed most of the time

  5. I've had dizzy spells when I was a young teen and my hormones were changing. I've also had them in the beginnings of pregnancy, hormones again. Then I had a sinus infection that spread to my inner ear, I was really dizzy then, until the antibiotics kicked the infection.

I've heard of people finding out about a heart condition, like an arrhythmia, and they didn't even know they had the heart condition until they had a dizzy spell or passed out.

Most of those things need to be seen by a doctor, so I'd make an appointment. Good luck.

  6. are you hydrating??
