Get a part time job and make friends to party with after work... Volunteer for places that may need help with anything...

I've found that the best thing to do is something with good people you know. Invite your friends over and do something:

1)Throw a summer game day: don't forget the potato sack race and lemonade

2) Have a slumber party: show really old black and white horror movies that keep eveyone up but don't scare anyone

3) Organize a trip to an amusement park: see if you can plan a route without making anyone drive there or back

This is stuff that's always kept me up off the couch over every summer vacation I've had. This might not be what everyone would like, but I hope it does help you some.
