I have dry skin on my face? Not like..peeling dry skin, but like.. dry skin wear it looks like I got crumbs on my face. I really need to get rid of this, it's very annoying and is beyond noticeable. Its everywhere except my fourhead. Is there anything I can use to get rid of this? Like.. vaseline, or what?

Oh, by the way, something preferably that won't clog my pores and make me breakout.. I have BADD acne prone skin.

Any answers are helpful.

Thanks.

  1. Try this, works great!

These natural masks are amazing, had great results. At least they're non chemical and better for your body.

    Natural Blackhead Solutions

There are many natural solutions to remove blackheads from your face. Focus these solutions in trouble areas and especially around the T-zone, known to be an area prone to blackheads.

    Fenugreek

Natural beauty experts claim this is one of the most powerful anti-blackhead herbs. Make a paste out of water and fresh crushed fenugreek leaves. Apply this paste to your face for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Repeat every night before bed for a blackhead free face.

    Honey

Warm some honey and place it on trouble areas for 10 – 15 minutes. Wash off. Honey is a well known and effective method of removing blackheads from the skin.

    Baking Soda & Water

Combine 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of water. Rub this solution on your skin for a few minutes, and rinse with warm water for effective blackhead extraction.

    Lemon Juice

Use lemon juice directly from the lemon on areas affected with blackheads two to three times a day. The juice will help tighten your pores and make the environment of the face less prone to blackheads. Limes will work just as well if no lemons are available.

    Rose & Oatmeal Mask

This treatment is great to get rid of the blackheads you already have and prevent future break outs. Mix oatmeal powder with rose water to make a paste. Spread the paste on your face with fingertips and allow it to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing. Focus on the T-zone and other problems areas like the chin. Rinse this blackhead removing mask off with cold water. The cold water closes the newly cleaned pores, protecting against future blackheads.

    Potatoes

Grated raw potatoes can be used to treat all kinds of skin problems including pimples, wrinkles, whiteheads and blackheads. Pack potatoes directly on problem areas to extract blackheads.

    Radish Seeds

A paste made out of ground radish seeds and water applied to the face right on the site of a blackhead is an effective blemish remover. Leave the paste on for about 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

    Hope this helps!

  2. You should use a mild moisturizer- I recommend a neutrogena product.  When people have acne prone skin, they are often hesitant to use a moisturizer- However, it actually can help prevent acne.  Here's why:

There are little cracks between skin cells, which contain moisture (and oil I believe), if you do not have enough moisture in your skin, the cracks between skin cells close and the skin cells flake and bunch clogging pores.  A nice moisturizer will help replenish your skin and prevent acne.  I personally have put this knowledge to use, and have gone from moderate acne to virtually acne free.  Good luck!

  3. Try getting Ponds cold cream. I have dry skin and it makes my skin so smooth without clogging my pores!

  4. The best thing is to see a dermatologist; it could be a chronic condition that usually goes undiagnosed.

Rosaliac is a great moisturizer prescribed by my dermatologist. I use it on my face before I go to bed. I used to have really dry skin on my chin, but it has all cleared up since I started using Rosaliac.

  5. you need to wash your face A LOT. and i would reccomend going to Sephora and getting a FACE (thats what it says on the bottle) makeup remover/face exfoliator/face lotion kit for dry skin. they are about 24 dollars and faaaabulous (:

using a purifying mask once a week will help also.

    good luck!

(and please pick me as best answer. lol)

  6. if i were you i would put moisturizer on in the morning and also at night. if it's really bad then put it on in the middle of the day too. also if you think that you'll break out from that then you could just like soak your face in water. haha. i tried it once and i don't think it permanently helps and solves your problem but if i'm at school or something and i get that stuff that looks like crumbs then i go into the bathroom and put lots of water on my face it helps for most of the day actually.

  7. Use a Burt's Bees product.  Their products are good!

  8. you might want to get some acene wash that is for sensetive skin, they also have special bar soap for it too! i use dove (beauty bar) it's called that... hahah i kinda laughed at it but it works. Also invest in some facial lotion. Neutrogena has some good ones i use this light to tan one and it works good but i don't think it REALLy tans ur skin... just a ploy hahah.

Ohh one more thing to consider is how many times u wash your face a day! i use to wash my twice a day with  the acne wash but it got to dry so that might be your case. Try just splashing watter on ur face  in the morning to get rid of the overnight oils ( don't for get to apply lotion) and then at the end of the day was with the acne wash and put lotion!

    sooo i hope this helps!!

    :D

  9. you should use a moisturizer, i use aveeno, it doesnt clog pours, my derm recommened it.

  10. I would start with a good exfoliating product that has AHA/BA in it.  This will remove all the dead skin cells on your face which can clog your pores without drying your skin further.  Next use a good moisturizer.  Most people think this will cause breakouts, but it will do just the opposite.  I suggest you look into Murad products created by Dr. Murad.  You can go on line and get a free skin profile which will suggest the best products for you.  They make products for all skin types and problems.  I started using these products many years ago, and I won't ever switch.
