I have dtw airport custom problem?

me and my wife came from china at aug 26 2008 we got cleared at immigration but we brought some commercial value of $1500 so we declared it.when we got to custom officer he ask us for import and export license we did not had one which we did not know about it he made us open all bags and took all merchandise and stuff in on luggage and gave us custom form 7512 and told us that they will call us we did not hear any thing from them or from airline nwa now we don't no what to do can somebody help us....

I suggest YOU call THEM, i.e. phone customs first and then the airline. Until you find out what the problem or delay is, no one can really give you any useful advice.
