I have dvd/vcr combo, how do i hook it up to my tv?

I only have the yellow and white cables, I have tried everything and still nothing. The tv is a sharp model and the dvd/vcr combo is emmerson

  1. Did you put it on the right channel for both of them? That could be problem.

    Or maybe you put the colors in the wrong places?
