I have emotional unstable borderline personality disorder can any one help me thanks

I have been diagnoses with this disorder but find it very difficult to talk to my ROM in hospital.  They are waiting for me to be transferred to a specialist hospital to be assessed where i hope they will come to the conclusion that i can be treated in the community.  does anyone know just how long these assessments can take?  i am a very shy bloke who has had bulimia and anorexia for most of my life due to child abuse.  I cannot bond with other people as I worry why they are paying me some attention.  I have been in hospital for some time now and was hoping to be discharged when my section runs out on 09/09/09.  This is now not going to happen due to being transferred to this new hospital.  There are also traits of Narcissistic tendencies.
