I've have surgery twice to remove the scar tissue, had a baby 4.5yrs ago, tried the pill and other forms of hormone control and the symptoms have come back with a vengence! I don't want anymore kids so is tubal ligation or hysterectomy the best treatment? Has anyone had either of these done? What are the side effects?

  1. hysterectomy.........

you'll be glad you did it

  2. I had a complete hysterectomy 7 years ago, (it has been great with no more periods) but you are probably a lot younger then I am. I have to wear an estrogen patch, or I get really bad headaches, but I'm slowing getting weaned off of the patches.  You could have a partial hysterectomy that is really the only real way of getting rid of it.
