  1. I do not believe they have you sign a contract obligating you to take courses, or pay for them if you choose not to enroll.  You must make sure that if you back out of a class you follow their withdrawal policies and do so before their deadline expires so that you are not charged for the class.

If you feel you are not ready then don't enroll.  These enrollment counselors are weasels and they pressure you to no end.  I know because I had one nagging me for like 9 months, but I wouldn't enroll until I was ready.  I didn't take too many courses through them, but I did finish there and it all ended alright.  I do agree they are too expensive.  However, for being able to get through classes faster than most schools it is a trade-off.

  2. I have heard horror stories about UOP and getting out of classes. Have you signed a contract?

You certainly don't have to take out any financial aid, but if you signed something with enrollment, they will do everything they can to get it from you. There is a reason the company makes billions of dollars. Don't get me wrong, I am sure it is a good degree, but WAY too expensive in my book.

They concentrate on the working people who have no time. Classes are only 5 weeks long and you have to work very hard.

    Good Luck
