I have files in my AVG Virus Vault, what do i do!?

I have 13 files in my AVG Virus Vault, 3/4 are Trojans and i dont want them to affect my computer, what do i do?

Can i leave them there and they wont affect my computer or do i "Empty Vault"?

Any help will be appreciated greatly, thanks in advance.

  1. As they are in the vaukt they can no longer harm your PC.I wait afew days to be sure the PC is operating normally. Then if so they were not important files for the proper operation of your PC and you can delete them.


  2. Empty your vault.

    Also turn off system restore and turn it back on to prevent reinfection if you go back to a previous date. Only do this if you knwo your system is working fine and you dont need any previous restore points.

    Go to system in your control panel and choose the system restore tab, take the tick out system restore and hit apply and then put a tick back in systme restore and hit apply again to turn it back on.

  4. If the affected files are in virus vault your computer is protected as your Anti virus do not allow them to infect your computer.Better to Remove them from virus vault or delete them.

  5. you can leave them there, but i owuld rather empty the vault
