I have finger numbness and I need to find out what is wrong with it. Can you help!!!?

I was away on holiday in Whitley Bay on the weekend and my friend bit my index finger when he was drunk. It has now gone numb and I think he may have damaged th nerve. I have not seen the doctor as I have not had time but it has been like this for 2 days now and driving me mad. Apart from that I am in great health.

Any ideas?

If the skin was opened you need an antibiotic because the human mouth carries many germs and you may have an infection.  If it is nerve damage not much can be done.  The nerve will have to heal on its own.  It will be hard because its your finger but it needs as much rest as it can get.  I would recommend a finger splint.

drink a lot of water do some exercise it should come back within 3 days
