As I have said earlier I have finished my contract with Sky so I have a sky box and card, I still have 200+ free to air channels but if I select say sky 1, then it says sky costomers can add this and other channels for £1 per month. Its the same message that I get if I choose say a discovery channel. The question I need answered is, can I as a no longer a sky customer, ask for the extra channels in any particular group for £1 per group what ever that group is. This way I can use Sky to give the best TV for maybe £3 to £4 per month, and choose the best phone and broadband package from another supplier.

  1. NO YOU CAN'T DUDE!!! COME ON, PAY THE COMPANY!! THEY ARE PAYING TAXES TOO!!

  2. It says "Sky Customers" can add this channel

You are no longer a Sky customer so the answer is no

Just by the way, I have 6300 free channels. I bought a motorised dish and receiver for £200 and I get all the channels that Sky charge for but off the other 23 satellites that I can watch. I think Sky is ripping people off.

  3. No you can't get the other Sky channels even for one pound a time. You have to contract to take a package of channels, this costs £17/month. Further if two you want are in different packages you have to pay for both.

As our friend said, a rip off!

The only saving grace is that you can do it on a monthly basis, so most lost is £17.
