  1. Perhaps contact your local government environmental welfare officer?

Give you local Mp a ring and ask where you can get a contact number - or maybe try googling it!

  2. Sell it. It is a valuable commodity. It worth $6.00 a gram retail when pure. You have $11,000.00 worth of Mercury if sold at retail.

  3. I would advise you to take it to your local disposal unit. Mercury is toxic and rather dangerous.

  4. most cities have a hazardous waste site where the general public can drop off paints and stuff like this. I dropped off a 1 pound bottle, no questions asked in Oakland CA.

  5. Mercury is a very dangerous and toxic chemical. Take it to your local waste disposal site, explain you have found it, they will take the required legal action to dispose of it safely

  6. It can be recycled, ask your refuse collection office and see what they say, someone somewhere wants it.

  7. Mercury and most of its compounds are extremely toxic and are generally handled with care; in cases of spills involving mercury (such as from certain thermometers or fluorescent light bulbs) specific cleaning procedures are used to avoid toxic exposure, so sell it to the scientists and technicians and they'll pay you.

  8. Put the bottle down and dial 911 and tell the operator what you found and tell the operator to get the hazmat team over to where the mercury is at.  You might even make the newspaper for finding it and reporting it.

  9. From the link below:

"If you are in possession of any mercury you are advised to contact a properly qualified chemist or public health laboratory for its safe disposal."

  10. I wouldn't be putting it in my cereal, that's for sure.

  11. How many times have you asked this question?

  12. how on earth have you found something like that?? i would suggest calling the police or local enviroment people.. good luck

  13. If you are careful and use gloves you can put a drop inside of hollow point bullets and cover with lead, then take them to your shooting range and they will make a large hole in the solid backstop that you are shooting at. I suggest that you use your own backstops and not public ones these things do some damage. Be very careful and have fun. Remember this is for recreational purposes only I take no responsibility for harm of any kind that may or may not result

  14. sell it to the guys who make cfl light bulbs

  15. I have dealt with this before. Mercury is a METAL not and Hazardous Chemical. Do not Eat it or handle it with out Gloves.

It's great for clearing Weapons and Coins and has a high resell Value.

And is generally cool to play with with gloves.
