  1. Dont miss the Vatican, Castel Sant angelo...

You need absolutely 4 hours for this..

But i would suggest you also Piazza Venezia, musei capitolini, Foro Romano, Palatino, Colosseo,

or Fontana di Trevi, Quirinale, Barberini, Piazza di Spagna

  2. You have see the Trevi Fountain - a tourist hot spot!

I also loved the Spanish Steps - walk from there down to the Piazza del Popolo - have a coffee on the way

To get to both of these - use the metro - one euro per journey - love it - so quick and fast - get a map - Rome is easy to get around - any hotel will give you one for free.

You must drive past the vatican on a scooter or at least on a bus!!! - you don't have time to see it all - but it is breathtaking and you have to just see it so you can tick off the list!

But soak it up - 4 hours is no where near enough but hopefully this helps you out!  IT really is the best city in the world - I would move there in a flash!

  3. the Pantheon , the forum and the Vatican

  4. St. Peter Basilica, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Colosseo.

  5. It can take an hour to get into town and an hour back to the airport.  If  you were including transit time in your calculation, you will only have about 2 hours.

  6. The Victor Emmanuel Monument is a great stop.  There is also a lift that takes you to the top for breathtaking views of Roma.  The Colosseum and surrounding area is also amazing

  7. hi,

go to one of Romes beautiful restaurants.

    And the Vatican or Colosseum.

    have fun!

  8. yes, 2 hours including transports..

    mm..

if you arrive with the airplane, than take the train line at the airport. You can reach every destination in about 45 minutes. it's cheap and quite confortable. Avoid taxy, if you can.

with that train you can arrive at any metro station. Get line A to reach 'Lepanto' and watch the Rome's bridge on river Tevere. choose 'Cipro' for a characteristic walk across the low part of the city that surround Vaticans or 'Ottaviano' and go straigh for the highest part of Vatican city. Shops are very characteristic and amazing, i suppose.

If you prefer you can reach cetral termini station and have a little walk across that place. There are something interesting.

I think you have to forget colosseum, you have not enough time

    Have fun

    :)
