I have fruit flies in my room and i need to get rid of them! please help?

so my sister left a slushie in my room and then i went on holidays for 2 weeks and now they are everywhere i got rid of everything but i cannot seem to get rid of them please help me

what i do is empty some beer into a small container and cover it with wrap tightly, then poke small toothpick holes in the wrap, it may take a few days, depending on amount of bugs, but they get in and cant get out, works wonders

I have used a mixture of vinegar and dish soap (equal quantities).  Leave it in a bowl and the fruit flies are attracted to it and die.  It did seem to work for me, just not as quickly as I would have liked.

Also, I just read yesterday that putting fresh basil in a room gets rid of fruit flies.

Get rid of the slushie, open the windows and say bye bye to the flies. once you remove the culprit (ie. slushie) they usually go find something else to feast on.

Not trying to be funny or anything  but get some ammonia i know it smells horrible but you must wipe everything down window Ceil's, dresser night stand all. I don't know why but they don't like the smell of ammonia and if you have a adjoined bathroom in your room poor some in your drains let it stand for a little while then air your room out thoroughly cause ammonia stinks bad but it works.
