I have got a bad problem with fruit flies. Any Suggestions?

We've completely cleaned the kitchen and looked for their breeding ground. I've even taken to sucking up the ones i do see with a vaccum.

Clean the sink and take out the garbage.

Fruit flies are just plain bad, in some areas, this year. My daughter has them real bad and so do all her neighbors. Target has a great trap that can be hung up. It's open so they fly in but they can't find their way out. Put some beer in it and it works great. Beer seems to be the best attractant.

Do (or did) you keep a bowl/basket, etc. of fruit on a counter or maybe a bucket  for green waste to go to composting (?)  It may be possible they have set up house in unsealed grout, but I doubt it.  Good luck with your problem - at least they don't live too long.

try putting out on the counter a glass full of Nondiet soda like coke and the sugar should attract them and once they land in the coke they will drown. And if you go to wal mart they have special bug sprays made just for fruit flys and traps to for them. if you need anymore help please feel free to e-mail me i hope i helped you out :-)
