I have had a constant headache for 2 and a half weeks on the back-left side of my head. I have had a normal CT scan, and loritabs and muscle relaxants do not alleviate the pain. My neurological test is normal as well. What could this be?

  1. I have the same problem but mine has been going on for nearly a year .  a couple days ago i saw two women on t.v. who have similar symptoms  as i do and  one of them had hashimoto's  disease and that a resutl of an auto immune disease where your immune system attacks the thyroid clad and your thyroid doesn't produce the amount of hormones your body needs on a day to day basis so you get headaches and feel drained and weak get joint/muscle pain. You should ask your doctor  to do a blood  test to see if any of the hormones produced by the thyroid is low  to see if this is whats causing your headache. The other woman had a CFS leak but from what you described i  doesn't sound like you have that one but you could further look it up. I hope this info helps  you and i will gladly re post if  FIND any new info.

ps. try Excedrin for the pain and caffeine.. but caffeine can some times make it worse soo becareful

  2. Im not sure what could be wrong, but i know that i had a constant headache for about the same amount of time, and around the same area.

  3. try having your blood pressure checked for high blood pressure. mine was 180/95 and i was having alot of headaches all on the same side and all the time. now im on alot of meds and i dont have headaches anymore.

  4. Try a chiropractor.
