Question:

I have had a headache for a while now.What should I do?

It depends how long u had the headache, if it lasts for a 1-3 days its probably a migrain, you can take some aspirin to help it, thats what i did when i had a migrain, yes they hurt and every day u gotta wake up with one, just do whatever u can to take the pain away, take aspirin or whatever you need to do

  2. ~Hi~! I'm sorry about your headache. I understand the pain of headaches (I have been a migraine sufferer for years). With the facts you've provided, it's impossible to classify the type of headache you're having.

    You could be having a tension headache and it really helps to lay down with a cold cloth on your head. Here's information on tension headaches:

    Sometimes, a headache will stem from sinus allergies (sometimes we don't even realize we're congested or have allergies). It could be a temporary reaction to something. I have found that sinus related issues to be a trigger to my migraines. So, I really have to stay on top of when I'm congested by taking Benadryl or Claritin (both medications are available in OTC), I have found Claritin to be much more gentler in that it doesn't make me drowsy like Benadryl. However, Benedryl works better for some allergic reactions.

    The next type of headache is migraine. If you have a migraine you will know it. You usually have experience aura and there is difficulty with outward stimuli. Also, a strong sensitivity to light .. you have to be be in complete in darkness. Many times you will start vomiting as well, which makes keeping medication down difficult.  There are great migraine medications that require a prescription, the one I take is Zomig and it works wonderfully.    It dissolves on your tongue and if taken early enough really helps.

    It's important thing to remember is this probably is this your common everyday headache. Related to tension or eye strain. Try taking Tylenol, Excedrin, or liquid Ibuprofen (whatever you tolerate). Keep resting and stay off the computer with a cool rag on your forehead and rub your temples.

  3. lay down comfortably and breathe deep and try to relax bcuz it cold possibly be stress OR u could be hungry/need water.  Seriously.

    If it keeps happening and the pian is really bad even to hear things etc u may have a migraine and may want to see a doctor.

    Try  to watch a funny movie or get fresh air by taking a walk and maybe that will help u not focus your attention on the headache. Get better soon!:)
