Question:

I have had airplane ears since i got off my flight yesterday, and nothing is helping.?

I tryed popping my ears but only my right ear unclogs. I tryed chewing gum and yawning ect. Is their somethign else i can do?

  1. Plug your nose, and hold your breath (like you are going under water) then "try" to blow air out through your nose.  Works for me every time!


  2. Oh you poor thing :(

    Try having a strong mint which will clear your nose completely, then drink a glass of water. If you've had a blocked nose (even if it's just a single nostril) it will stop your eustachian tube clearing and leave you with that "clogged" feeling.

    Short of that, consult a doctor or a pharmacist who may recommend a nasal decongestant or something.

    There's nothing worse though, you have my empathy. It took days before my ear popped after a flight from Melbourne to London.
