I have had an on going battle with the city of Edwardsville KS.AND HAVE ASKED 2 OTHER QUESTION BEFORE NOW PERTAINING TO THESE MATTERS , NOW I HEARD YESTERDAY FROM THE CITY CODE OFFICER THAT THE CITY PASSED A NEW ORDANCE LAST WEEK AT THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING THAT WILL EFFECT MOST LIKELY ONLY ME SINCE OUR CITY IS SO SMALL . AFTER APPLYING FOR A ANIMAL RESCUE LICENCE FROM THE CITY & RECIEVING IT , THEY NOW ARE LIMITNG THE AMOUNT OF ANIMALS WE CAN CARE FOR ON OUR LAND , AFTER BEFORE TELLING US SINCE WE WERE ZONED ANIMAL HUSBANDTRY THERE WERE NO LIMITS . BUT MOST OF OUR PROBLEMS STEM FROM NEIBORS THAT ARE UPSET FROM US WANTING TO USE A EASMENT FOR A DRIVEWAY THAT GOES TO THE OLD KENNEL BUILDING IN THE REAR OF OUR LAND . WOULDNT THAT EFFECT MY ZONING AND HOW WOULD A GRANDFATHER CLAUSE EFFECT THIS ? AND IS A GRANDFATHER CLAUSE SOMETHING I NEED TO APPLY FOR OR ?

  1. You can take the city to court. A city is not allowed to create an ordinance aimed only at one person.

Hire a lawyer. Defend your rights. Living in rural areas often means a fight with a neighbor.

And fix your keyboard, for heaven's sake. Your capslock key is stuck.
