  1. It will stay on for around 6 years.

    However.....it will 'score' much less after the first 12 months...and then again much less after the first 2 years.

    It also depends on how much the CCJ was for. The higher the amount...the worse the affect on your score.

  2. Set aside normally takes about 1-2 months depending.  Just to be clear as well the whole thing is removed.

    Not sure where people get the 6 years from!!! as this is a set aside question

    I am being threatened with ccj's and b/ruptsy and they are saying that I might be embarresed by having on my credit file for 6 years.

    I am really not that bothered I am fed up with "DEBT" cards
